Introduction & Qualifications
Welcome!
Creating successful family dynamics and assisting youth to thrive in education are a few of my deep passions. I have had the honor to assist families, often when the current situation seems hopeless, by identifying the underlining issues and creating solutions. This can be accomplished through academic pathways, or behavior modifications, and often times both. The goal is to make sure everyone is heard as the solutions are created.
There may be learning difficulties or special education detection required to be included in the modifications to move the student and families toward success. These unique learning and behavioral identifiers can be implemented through several different avenues such as: advocating for a student in the current school or initiating strategies for other education or behavioral options.
As a 3rd Generation Educator, I have completed extensive training in areas such as psychology, child & brain development, goal setting, behavior management and effective communication strategies as well as working with students who have special education needs. I am also well versed on Education Laws, Student Advocacy, and Curriculum Mapping.
Approach
I take a collaborative and solution-focused approach to education and behavior coaching. By working together, we can identify strengths, overcome obstacles, and create a plan of action to help the student and family achieve the desired goals.
Specialties
I specialize in assisting clients with behavior management, time management, learning disabilities and special education needs, ACT Prep and education planning to career development. Leading the family to graduation with each individual child accomplishing personalized achievements.
